Ben Curry and Scott Edwards to Lead Governance and Security Talks at SPTechCon in DC

Scott Edwards and Ben Curry were chosen to present during five different sessions alongside 27 other industry leaders at SPTechCon (Nov 12-15) in Washington D.C. 

At his first session, Scott will discuss the compliance landscape of Office 365 and how you can take advantage of the Office 365 infrastructure to ensure that your organization is compliant yet cognizant of enterprise user requirements. His second session will focus on how FedRAMP, DISA SRG, NIST 800-171, and DFARS 7012 interact to create a set of security requirements that the Government requires when doing business with the Department of Defense along with other federal agencies.

Ben's first session will elaborate on data governance controls, such as DLP, eDiscovery, Data Classification, Azure RMS, Azure Information Protection, IM Policies, SharePoint Online, and ODB governance. Attendees will also learn about the high-level approach for designing these controls with a live demonstrations in Office 365. At the second session, Ben will discuss the importance of mobile device management, starting with the controls for device compliance and configuration, the latest app management capabilities of mobile phones, and concluding on the configuration of mobile content management and how Microsoft apps integrate with SharePoint Online and ODB.
