If you need another reason to attend SPTechCon in Boston this year, the Office 365 Hands-On Challenge is definitely a good one. This full-day, pre-conference experience will bring together Office 365 newbies and veterans alike to build real-world solutions for a local state university.

Think of it like a hack-athon, but for Office 365 users of all skill levels. (That is to say, real peopleā€¦ not just hackers).

Plymouth State University of New Hampshire, a state-run, non-profit university, is in need of better ways to run some of its business processes. You'll be teamed up with a diverse group of conference goers to help take Plymouth to the next step in collaboration, automation, and adoption within their Office 365 ecosystem.

Your team will also include a representative from Plymouth and be led by one of the expert speakers attending this year's conference. You'll have the opportunity to learn new tools in Office 365 as well as share your expertise with your team to build the best business solution you can for Plymouth.

At the end of the day, you'll present your solution to the teams and the best end product wins!

John Moh (Microsoft), Rima Reyes (Microsoft), and I (AtBot) have been working hard behind the scenes to get ready to welcome up to 50 excited Office 365 users and experts-to-be to help a non-profit become more productive and efficient.

We're excited to welcome you soon to Beantown, to build connections with peers in the community, learn from experts and beginners alike, and support a local non-profit that could use the help.

There's no better way to learn the Office 365 suite than solving actual problems among a diverse team with varied expertise. If you'd like to join in, be sure to register for the Office 365 Hands-On Challenge today! Prices increase July 13, so nail down that early-bird price now.
